• In addition to the usual stereo final master, create a separate multi-channel and immersive mix in either: 

  • Dolby Atmos (Binaural, 5.1.2, 7.1.2)

  • Sony 360

  • Auro 3D

  • General binaural mixing
     

• In order to complete this challenge successfully, first:

  • Indicate what format you will be doing.

  • If doing binaural mixing, make sure to properly record vocal tracks with a proper binaural or stereo microphone and have at least 1 minute of binaural automated panning effects.

  • If doing surround sound mixing (Dolby Atmos, Sony360, etc.), make sure to have the appropriate amount of speakers needed to create the mix and have at least 1 minute of immersive effects such as panning, time-based effects, etc.

  • Lastly, take screenshots of your DAWs session, especially what program you used to create this separate mix (ex: Dolby Renderer, Logic Pro Dolby Renderer, etc.)

• The knowledge of timelines different from your own, existence weaved in patterns so familiar yet different from our own. What lies beyond? Does it comfort you? Or do you envy it? Will you dare to cross the veil?

• Use a different medium for your art.

  • Stop motion, clay, recorded footage, traditional art and paints, etc. 

• Surprise us! (3D can count for this challenge only if you have at least one character entirely modeled, rigged and animated by you, the use of mixamo is tolerated as long as your team created the model)

• The papers you’ve written and the texts you’ve read during your time here at Kawaakari Academy have been hypothetical, contained, two-dimensional. The world you will step into and transform for the better after your time here is done is actualized, expansive, three-dimensional.
  
  Have all the scenes in your video be predominantly constructed using 3D objects, rather than with 2D or drawn assets. (Sample)
